Scholastic And Yale Child Study Center Announce Collaboration

The Yale Child Study Center–Scholastic Collaborative for Child & Family Resilience will focus research on “the intersection of literacy and health across a range of education content areas.”

Scholastic is joining forces with the Yale Child Study Center to eventually create resources, programs, professional development, and curriculum to support children and families. The Yale Child Study Center–Scholastic Collaborative for Child & Family Resilience is a forum for researchers, educators, health care professionals, families, and community members to "advance progress towards improving academic and mental health outcomes."

It will focus research on the "intersection of literacy and health across education content areas, including early childhood, social emotional learning and teaching, equity and social justice, family and community engagement." It will also act as a forum for researchers, educators, healthcare professionals, families, and community members to share ideas.
