There’s a new comic on the funny pages, and Good Comics for Kids readers already know about it: Phoebe and Her Unicorn started as a webcomic, and Esther reviewed the print collection here. Creator Dana Simpson tells the Deseret News that the comic started out with just the girl, and the unicorn was supposed to be a single gag, but she quickly realized that it was an essential part of the story.

Planetes is back! Dark Horse has picked up the license for the four-volume sci-fi manga about intergalactic junkmen, which was originally published by Tokyopop, and they will release it in two-volume omnibus format.

It’s a James Kochalka crossover! Top Shelf announced that Kochalka’s next kids’ book will be Johnny Boo Meets Dragon Puncher! You can see a preview at the link; the book will be out in June.
