Introducing The Book Club by Albert Whitman Media

The Book Club was designed with children, parents, and educators in mind. Whether it’s used at home or in school, The Book Club will help kids build reading confidence and learn about themselves and their communities.

Since its founding in 1919, Albert Whitman & Company (AW) has had one simple goal: publish high-quality books that kids want to read. Now, the Chicago-based, independent publisher is sharing its inclusive, relevant, and trusted stories with more children than ever by launching The Book Club reading comprehension app.

Developed by Albert Whitman Media, a subsidiary of AW, The Book Club was designed with children, parents, and educators in mind. Users can access hundreds of popular AW stories and series, including The Boxcar Children®, Great Big Feelings, A Dog’s Day, Zapato Power, and more. Each story features animation, voiceover narration, and text highlighting as well as activities and mini-games to enhance the reading experience.

The Book Club integrates with Google Classroom and includes an educator dashboard that tracks reading habits, engagement, assignment completion, and level progression.

Whether it’s used at home or in school, The Book Club will help kids build reading confidence and learn about themselves and their communities.

Users can try the app free for 14 days or choose from one of the two plans for unlimited access.

Find The Book Club on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
