American Library Association's (ALA) Office for Intellectual Freedom (OIF) wants to hear about book challenges in your state or region. The OIF is currently finalizing its database on 2014 book challenges around the United States, and "even if you think we probably already know about it, send it to us anyways," says Kristin Pekoll, assistant director of OIF, in an email. Pekoll goes on to write: "Challenges reported to ALA by individuals are kept confidential, and we will cross-check your report with existing entries in the database to avoid duplications."
