Vivid illustrations demonstrate the beauty of her vision and clearly display her emotions when she is trying to not be boxed in by society. Young readers will be able to connect to the sense of adventure Capetillo emulates and will likely be inspired to keep breaking barriers; they may be disappointed by the lack of back matter for further context and information.
