The second title (2013, both Simon Pulse) in Gregory's epic quartet will delight listeners as these unlikely companions explore this dark time in history. Nicola Barber's narration is smooth and elegant. Her variations of the voices and mood interpretation of the text bring depth and anticipation to the tale.
