Gr 10 Up—Eva Brooks and Cage York are living together in Sea Breeze, Alabama, when Cage finds out he's been awarded a baseball scholarship. The catch? The scholarship is to Hill State in Tennessee. A future in baseball is Cage's dream come true, but shortly before the two leave Sea Breeze, Eva finds out her father is sick and may not have long to live. Together they decide it's best for Cage to go ahead to Tennessee. The two struggle to maintain their long distance relationship, but when Cage's roommate puts him in some awkward situations and sends Eva deceptive texts and videos, their love is soon on the rocks. She turns to her handsome neighbor for comfort, but Cage hopes to win her back. Fans of the series and of the author's previous books won't be disappointed with this melodramatic and standalone novel entry.
