Hidden images located on black-and-white spreads alternate with vivid and bright depictions of the rain forest's wealth of wildlife. Young explorers will enjoy the colorful illustrations, basic facts, and interactive elements. This latest installment in this series provides a unique addition to look-and-find type books, but the factual content is a bit on the thin side, even with a "There's More" spread at the end.

To find out what kinds of animals live in this (unspecified) tropical rainforest ecosystem, young readers can first respond to the text's questions ("What's hiding under this leaf?"), then hold up the book to a light source to see an animal's image projected through onto each right-facing page.
