Gr 5 Up—Yuri and Valentina are part of a race of human beings who have been genetically engineered with superpowers. Setting out to explore space, they crash on Planet Gigantic in Woodmere where they face rock monsters, are imprisoned by a Queen Neva, and meet giant insects and ninjas. Each of the artists uses a variety of vibrant colors, creating a serene atmosphere, and makes good use of light, with results that are appealing and enjoyable.
