His constant worry over the chair takes away the joy Julie hoped to provide him. Readers see how comfort can come from places we might least expect. This sweet story of devotion and dedication is brilliantly illustrated with colorful, textured full-spread depictions of the special intergenerational bond.

Grandpa has always been happy reading on the couch, but no more. Thinking that he needs a new chair, his granddaughter takes him shopping for a perfect new one to no avail. Finally, Grandpa realizes that contentment is not [cf2]where[cf1] he sits, but with whom. The simple story is greatly enhanced with charmingly naive illustrations in bright colors on glossy white paper.
