This book features the Dino pals cooking, playing games, watching football, and, of course, being thankful for a feast of meat and veggies! Vibrant illustrations in the style of the preceding installments are full of movement and activity, flawlessly depicting the energy of the busy holiday. Short text, about two or three words per page, is perfect for toddlers, as the illustrations invite so much opportunity for conversation and vocabulary exposure. Bouncy rhythm and rhyme round out this holiday board book. The conversations between grown-up and child that the illustrations elicit will bring readers back to this book every November.
VERDICT This short, sweet snapshot into Thanksgiving for the Dino friends is perfect for young dinosaur enthusiasts.
