Minecraft: The Ultimate Collection!

Gr 1-3–Travel to the world of Minecraft with best friends Emmy and Birch, along with their faithful wolf Byte, in this collection of five early readers. Straightforward and action-packed stories full of adventure follow the trio on quests that include climbing to the top of the tallest mountain, defeating mobs of monsters, traveling the Overworld to find and adopt a new pet, rescuing Byte after he falls through a portal into the Nether, creating a set of functional flying wings, and collecting supplies to build a diamond pick axe, to name only a few. Sentences range from approximately eight to 20 words, with two-to-five sentences per spread. The text features a combination of familiar words and phrases as well as terms that will challenge readers and give them an opportunity to develop their skills. Certain nomenclature that is unique to Minecraft, including, mob, creeper, Overworld, and piglins, are immediately defined and easy to distinguish in the appealing, familiar digital illustrations.
