K-Gr 4—Designed in the style of an old time radio show, the album has many elements that kids will enjoy. In between songs, a cast of zany characters, including Time Traveling Tina, joke telling Milt, and Pockets who communicates through horns and noise makers, is introduced. The banter between them contains many jokes and a laugh track that will keep listeners engaged and looking forward to the next bit. The original songs "8000 FT." about Amelia Earhart and "Jackie" about Jackie Robinson could easily be incorporated into lesson plans. Fast-paced, rocking numbers such as "Thingamajig" and "When I Grow Up" are tempered by the slower, gentler original tune "Goodnight My Love" and the cover of the Beatles hit "Till There Was You." Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band continue to produce music that is fun for the whole family.
