It’s Christmas, Curious George!

Toddler-PreS–Curious George is at it again in this interactive holiday book. This time it’s Christmas Eve, and George and the Man with the Yellow Hat are baking cookies and preparing for Santa’s arrival. George falls asleep, but wakes to a curious sound. He discovers Santa’s sack of toys and climbs in, determined to help. Through multiple pages, readers see George eating cookies, playing with toys, and doing crafts in various homes as sooty shoe prints in the background let readers know that Santa is near. In illustrations done in the style of H.A. Rey’s originals, glimpses of various home interiors offer delightful elements of pets and decorations that George interacts with. Children may recognize holiday decorations from their own homes, including a mantel village or Advent wreath. The lift-the-flap reveals of George are delightful, with him riding a train around a Christmas tree in one and playing with a Dalmatian in another.
