Gr 5–7—The Screech Owls are back, and the ice hockey team from Tamarack, Canada, has gone to Texas to compete in the San Antonio Peewee Invitational. The kids are excited to play in the tournament and explore the city, particularly the Alamo. The games start out great until they play the Kansas City Cheetahs. The manager displays poor sportsmanship and is mean to his team. Things get shady as the Screech Owls discover that he is dangerous and has plans that may ruin the Alamo forever.
