Gr 3-6–This nonfiction text is a detailed look at climate change and its causes. The greenhouse effect, deforestation, and our carbon footprint are only a few of the many topics covered in this graphic novel–like informational book. This text explains the various ways our planet is being negatively affected by climate change each day. Kids will learn about the impact of climate change on bees and how that affects the food that we eat. Rampant wildfires mean a diminishing supply of healthy air. Many of the scientific concepts that can be daunting for most are visually explained with graphics that keep readers flipping the pages.
