The program offers a comprehensive look into the politics behind Obama's rise to power and the election of President Donald Trump. The film details the bargaining that went on behind the scenes as various bills were passed, and the close relationship the president must forge with the House and Senate. There is extensive analysis of the rise of the Tea Party and the historic election of 2012. The first part chronicles the shutdown of Washington, DC, and the economic bailout.
