Written in a simple A/B/C/B rhyme scheme that bounces along as easily as the little bunny, and illustrated with vibrant springtime flair, this book is a quick but agreeable read-aloud. Smith pairs opposites throughout, such as an egg placed up high on one page and then down low on the opposing page, providing hooks to make the work more interactive. This lovely book is as well suited for story time as it is for bedtime.
VERDICT A simple, straightforward Easter book with story hour potential that will delight young eyes and is enjoyable to read.
