Brief overviews of appearance, personality, training, and care notes are provided for each, along with country of origin, date of American Kennel Club recognition, and a bit of historical background. The inviting layout includes white space between each bite of information; a clear, full-body photograph; and a "Fun Fact" about the breed accompanied by a smaller photo. The one-page treatment is not intended to offer in-depth coverage, but there's enough to get a sense of each dog's key individual traits. Short tips about care and training make the set useful for prospective dog owners as well as more general canine fans.
