Returning home after losing the competition, he realizes the game is controlling his life and has the sinister objective of possessing players' minds. This series is written between a first and second grade reading level.
VERDICT "Monarch Jungle" deals head-on with modern issues confronting young people, particularly the harmful impact that technology can have on the lives of its users, though the plots stay away from some of the edgier implications of this theme.
