A Glitch in Time

Gr 5 Up–The half human/half ghost known as Danny Phantom wants to keep his world safe, but it’s getting harder and harder, especially since his powers aren’t working correctly anymore and time itself seems to be glitching. He’s going to need the help of his family, friends, and even archnemesis Vlad Masters to get to the Ghost Zone and figure out what’s going on before it’s too late. This book takes place after the finale of Nickelodeon's Danny Phantom, so it will be most appreciated by fans of the series. However, Epstein adeptly fills in readers on the previous story, so this book can also serve as a new entry point. The artwork is energetic and colorful, filled with lots of blues, greens, and purples. Sometimes there is so much action that the art looks as if it’s exploding off the page. The action proceeds at a breakneck speed, as Danny and his friends pop in and out of different time periods, trying to see how they can save their city, world, and own time line.
