Celebrate the publication of Pax, Journey Home with a talk, reading and Q&A with Sara Pennypacker!

When Pax became a #1 bestseller in 2016, Sara Pennypacker never dreamed she’d revisit the world of Peter and Pax. But every time a reader asked about the future of the fox and his boy, Sara found herself wondering about them, too. She began jotting down ideas, and before she realized it, she was writing Pax, Journey Home.

It’s been a year since Peter and his pet fox, Pax, have seen each other. Once inseparable, they now lead very different lives. Pax and his mate, Bristle, have welcomed a litter of kits they must protect in a dangerous world. Meanwhile, Peter leaves his adopted home with Vola to join the Water Warriors, a group of people determined to heal the land from the scars of the war.

When one of Pax's kits falls desperately ill, he turns to the one human he knows he can trust. Both boy and fox find themselves on journeys toward home, healing—and each other. Watch the trailer for Pax, Journey Home here.

This event will be moderated by: Kristin Brynsvold, Librarian at Tuckahoe Elementary, Arlington, VA
